Pickleball518 teams up with Capital Region Independent Media

You may have been wondering who that guy was doing Facebook Live videos on Pickleball518. That is Mark Vinciguerra, president of Capital Region Independent Media. I have partnered with Mark and his talented team to increase the reach of Pickleball518. Mark and I worked together at the Albany Times Union, where he was director of audience development. He is also a pickleball player – you may have seen him at Impact.

Mark comes from a racquetball background, and once served as director of media outreach for the International Racquetball Tour.

Mark and the team at Capital Region Independent Media will be selling advertising and sponsorship opportunities in the Pickleball518 newsletter and website. So if you own a local business or are planning a pickleball event and want to promote it, reach out to him at markvinciguerra@npiag.com, or by calling 518-859-6353.

Announcements about pickleball activities will always be free on Pickleball518, but it you are looking a little more, contact Mark.

Capital Region Independent Media publishes social media, websites, videos and printed newspapers in Albany County and Greene County, New York. The newspapers include The Ravena News-Herald, Albany County’s oldest continuously-published weekly newspaper, as well as the Greenville Pioneer. The TheUpstater.com is the hub for both newspapers.

Mark is also publisher of NYVT Media, which prints the Granville Sentinel, the Whitehall Times, the North Country Free Press in northern New York and the Lakes Region Free Press in Vermont.

The company publishes InPlay Capital Region, a website and social media site devoted to community theater, DIRT Central, a social media site focusing on the Upstate New York racing scene, and Border Country Sports, featuring sports news from the North Country.

It is an exciting partnership that aligns with my goal of growing pickleball our region.
