Pickleball coach Gina Family expands with team of instructors

The coaches at Upstate NY Pickleball, led by Family, will offer coaching clinics around the region and programs for kids.

If you have ever asked about where to learn to play pickleball, chances are you’ve heard the name Gina Family. As the first licensed pickleball instructor in NY state, Gina has been a fixture in the pickleball teaching scene for three years.  In that time, she has seen the demand for lessons and clinics explode and realized that it was time to expand.

Introducing Upstate NY Pickleball, the Capital Region’s Premier Pickleball Coaching Team. Led by Family, Upstate NY Pickleball aims to spread the pickleball bug by offering more adult clinics throughout the entire region, from Queensbury to Albany. In addition, they will offer junior programs for kids from elementary through high school.
